So the other night Michael and I chilled on the couch and watched some American Pickers. I LOVE THIS SHOW.
Have you seen this show? You should.
I used to do some "picking" of my own back in the day. But I never did it "legally." Back home there are tons of old barns in fields that are abandoned. I would drive around and search for some goods. I've found some cool things too. Like a DIAMOND ring, an old pewter sewing machine, lots of paned windows (I'm pretty much obsessed with windows), some opal glass, A HOMELESS GUY, old encyclopedias, old lamps and oil lamps ... pretty much a lot of old things. As soon as we move, I'm gonna be off looking for more odd things for the new home.
Wow. That sounds like a pretty interesting show. I will check it out. =D
ReplyDeletejosh and i love "american pickers"!

A HOMELESS GUY. Yikes! LOL I've only watched that show once - it's pretty cool.

ReplyDelete(Sam you are very sweet to get excited! I do a little fun mind summersault every time I think of the letter Q then in my brain I think of you and bambino, then I remember we have the same name!!! Triple headstand!, but not by you, as your belly will be too heavy and baby Q might do a sicky burp in your womb, blegh.)

ReplyDeleteA picker is someone who looks for junk or antiques, whether to refurbish it, sell it, or use it as decorative item. Basically, looking for some treasure.
A homeless guy always makes a nice addition to a new home.
ReplyDeleteHa! Did you see the show the other night when Mike let Danielle tag along and she bought those windows? I immediately thought about you!
