Fat baby

Oh hai!

So today I am 32 weeks. Holla.

I had a doctor appointment yesterday, apparently I am measuring 34 weeks (uterus).
Hmmm.
I wonder what that will mean for me. My mom and little sister was excited when I told them. THEY WANT A FAT BABY!

................................ excuse me?

Okay, here's the deal with a fat baby. I don't want one.

I'm not saying I'm going to make my baby skinny, or go on a diet. I'm just saying, how can a fat baby be healthy? I'm not referring to chunky babies, they are cool and all. I just don't want a rollie-pollie. I know that might make me sound like a bitch, but whatever, I'll admit it. I just think that we should try to aim towards healthy babies, instead of fat babies. AND I DONT believe fat babies don't get sick.

So, I got my postcard from this awesome chick from London this week. It is currently on my fridge. :)

  2. According to Pregnancy-info.net, the average weight range for infants is between 6 lbs 2 oz and 9 lbs 2 oz.  All but one of my kids fell within that range (well, another one was 9.3 but that's pretty close) and I liked the size they were.  E was my smallest at 7 pounds and I felt like he was super small. I think when people say they like "fat" babies what they really mean is that they like a baby that isn't tiny.  Larger newborns tend to look stronger and not so fragile.  There are some concerns with low birth weight babies like higher risk of infections and SIDS. I'm sure little Q will be the perfect size.

  4. I came out fat and thinned out, my brother was the opposite.  He was a rod when he came out then he became a buddha.

  6. Trae was the tinniest little thing when he was born... But the kid loves food.  Some babies just love it more than others.  He is almost 20 pounds at six months.  Not a problem, though.  Babies eat what they need.  Some eat more, making them bigger... Some eat less.  Regardless, your baby will be adorable, and if he is a big baby, he will even out eventually :)

  7. Oh dear,  I realize now I should've clarified that last statement... I was referencing my brother and my weight as newborns vs. roughly 1-2 years old.  Not baby vs. NOW.
