Oh 31 wks

So nothing new to report.

Hit 31 weeks yesterday. I have another ultrasound this Friday. Kinda excited about that, I would really like to know Q's size.

I've been thinking about getting the baby room situated now. We put the playpen together (what we are using instead of a crib, for the moment) and it made me shocked. I put it in the baby room and put some toys in it, and just looked at it. I was like "WHOA, I'm gonna have a baby."

Today I'm going through the million bags of hand-me-down clothes and sorting it. Its pretty awesome how much I've been given.

BODY UPDATE:

I'm not AS depressed about my body and the changes like I was a few weeks ago. I'm still really bummed about everything, but I know most of it can be worked on/go back after Q is born.

My back is getting much more achy now. I think its because I'm low and wide. haha I don't have that belly that sticks out right in front. I still kinda look like a fat chick, well in my opinion I do. My belly is more wide than it is out. But I have 9 weeks for that to change.

Oh, and my emotions are out of control again. Poor husband.

  2. My belly was also wide when I was pregnant but I kinda liked that it didn't stick as far. You look awesome!

I was a wide preggo, too.  I hated it.  But having that baby in your arms makes everything you hate about being pregnant disappear!  You look good - even if you don't think so.  Hang in there.  He'll be here before you know it!

  4. These are the weeks that the baby is pretty good developmentally and does a ton of just growing in size. You'll be amazed at how much bigger your belly will be. Try not to worry about the sucky part of being pregnant and focus on how crazy your body is making a human! I know it's hard to focus on the positives but trust me, it really helps. I was a whale. Like...a WHALE. If you haven't seen my preggo belly yet look: http://mamamandolin.blogspot.com/p/da-belly.html ...like 60lbs of weight gain and an enormous belly. Try to take a lot of pictures, you'll look back and be glad you did. I tried to focus on my hair or something else, nice lotions or something to make me feel pretty and to take my focus off of my monster truck body.

    Hang in there!

  5. Youre right. Its worth it in the end. And at the end of your pregnancy, how did you keep from toppling over!?!?!?! I guess I don't have much to complain about, I just need to be more positive. Thanks.
