Meet Chester Cat

Alright, we did it. We adopted a kitty.

Meet Chester.

He is about 4 months old, and is the sweetest cat I have ever met.
Michael and I are animal lovers, and it was killing him to live without some kind of critter. (I was holding out till after we had Quentin.) So Saturday we hit up the ads and found a kitty that needed a home.
Love him.

I forgot what its like to have a cat "under foot" all day. If I go to pee, I have an audience. If I'm folding laundry, he has to lay ontop the fresh linens. But its been nice, to have someone/kitty around during the day when I'm usually home alone.

EDIT! Michael hasn't had a cat since he was 10 years old. He'll be 30. He is used to owning dogs. So, the best part about having Chester is watching the two of them interact. Like, he tells Chester "No." hahahahahaha

Nothing new happening. My stepmom is in town to pick up my little brother and take him back home. (He stayed here this summer while my stepmom packed to move to Florida, lucky boy!)

THANK YOU LADIES for all the awesome boobie advice! I'm so ready and excited to start this whole motherhood thing.

And if you follow me on instagram you probably have already seen these pictures.

If not, then why aren't you following me?

  1. You are looking and sounding (reading) happy!  Chester is so lovely too!  I demand a video.  Yep, demand one.  They say that kids growing up around animals are much much less likely to have allergies.  :) Bingo!

  4. Congratulations on the furry one! He has a lovely coat! Hilarious your husband telling the cat "no". haha. Definitely does NOT work with ours. Dogs and cats have a very different language. :)
